The Skin I Belong In is a fictional documentary that utilises latex suits in everyday
scenarios to highlight the issue of censorship. The project challenges the notion that latex is solely associated with sexual desires or fetishes by showcasing its potential as a tool for self-expression and representation of a second skin. The aim is to provide a sense of belonging and liberation for those who feel restricted by social norms and expectations. The documentary features experienced and inexperienced individuals within the latex culture to create a captivating and thought-provoking narrative that promotes awareness among the younger generation of the importance of individuality and self-expression.
